great garage, makes mine look abit shabby..lol my cousin has had his 911 for over 20 years and as a young guy he let me drive it. that experience has stayed with me for so long and still to this day long to have one of my own.

down and dirty..

I just cant help my self, cant leave it as is just got to tinker abit more..some call it a curse! i think i have finally done my dash with ordering parts, with no budget left this is going to be it for now, fingers crossed but as with everything it never ends.
got my head gasket, engine full rebuild kit, fuel sender and my new carbi mounts plus a few other bits so started the tear down. didn't know i had to get the intake manifold off to get to four hidden bolts for each carbi mount,you really cant see it with carbi's still on.
had to come off anyway but you learn things as you go. came off okay no real problems abit dirty and all for with cracks so spent some time detailing manifold before new ones went on.cleaned out years of fuel residue with a wirer wheel. getting ready for the head removal so just taking it slowly and sort of checking my self as i go. gathered alot of data and how to info from the net as well as my manuals so sort of got the plan in my head but just have to execute the process for real now. sorry for the blurry pics still using my i phone again
