......anyone got any ideas on that??
punched out alot last night thanks to billy [brothinlaw]  for coming over and sanding the inside door sills,
still cant get her to start, i put a new coil in and set the points again, do have a small spark at the plug so must be timming, points or carby. put new fuel lines as i thought i had a air leak..checked the circut with a tester light i bought and power was all flowing to the dizzy?

Just love suprises...

Starting to get the patch panels to were i am happy, only done them four times....but happy to move on to something else. started pulling everything out as i have given up trying to get her to start so pushing on as there are so many jobs ahead. pulled out interior and head liner as it was all deteriorated an torn, also stainless trim and boot and head lights. front wind screen and rear tomorrow night with doors. just got to get on with it now..serious stuff when you pull it apart, as it can easily stay like that due to the over whelming task ahead.

some bad rust on the rear top section , all under the foam [of course a sponge will hold the water] years of water leaking through dry old rubbers..wind screen rubbers should be changed on a car after 20 years minimum.

NEW CHALLENGES..

Just some more pics on the rocker and rear quarter panel patch, a really technical job that has been harder than i thought. Getting it to all line up was a challenge, now i will try to level and get the lines alot straighter. Welds holding strong and seems to be solid..really hard to weld the thin sheet metal with the small mig welder i have, really need more scope with temperature adjustment when doing thin sheet metal. trouble trying not to have blow outs and on the other hand have enough heat to get good penetration. will have to up grade to a larger ampige welder with more adjustment or maybe go for a tig system instead..learning as i go..good old fashion work experiance! muck it up and do it again..
body line was a bit out but have worked it bit more with grinder and filler and looks a lot better..haven't got new pics for that yet.
